By submitting a contact form, telephoning to arrange a service, or physically leaving a watch at our workshop, you confirm that:
- You have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
- You are at least 20 years of age (the age of majority under Thai law), or you are acting with the authorisation of a legal guardian.
- You have the authority to enter into a service arrangement in respect of the watch you are presenting.
If you do not agree with any part of this Agreement, please refrain from using our services and contact us to discuss your concerns before proceeding.
3. Service Description
Tickwright offers the following services at our Chiang Mai workshop:
Vintage Restoration
Careful, reversible work on older timepieces, including dial care and sympathetic case treatment that respects the original character of the piece. Aimed at inherited or collected watches where preservation is the priority.
Case Polishing & Refinishing
Removal of light surface marks and restoration of brushed or polished finishes matched to the original specification. This is a cosmetic service for owners who prefer a tidy appearance without altering case geometry.
Corporate Gifting Preparation
Engraving co-ordination, presentation setup, and pre-delivery inspection for watches prepared as company gifts. Designed for HR and procurement teams handling batch or individual gifting requirements.
Service availability is subject to our current workshop capacity. We will communicate any scheduling constraints clearly during the initial consultation.
4. Enquiries & Estimates
- All estimates provided via our website or by telephone are indicative only. A firm quotation is issued only after we have physically inspected the timepiece.
- Submitting a contact form does not constitute a booking or service agreement.
- We will respond to enquiries within two working days. If the scope of work changes after inspection, we will notify you before proceeding.
- For corporate gifting preparation involving multiple pieces, a written scope agreement will be provided before any work begins.
5. User Responsibilities
When using this website or engaging our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about the watch's history, prior repairs, and any known issues.
- Disclose whether the timepiece has sentimental, financial, or insurance value that may influence the approach to the work.
- Collect the watch within 30 days of receiving a collection notice, unless a longer arrangement has been agreed in writing.
- Refrain from submitting false or misleading information through our contact form.
- Not attempt to interfere with the security or integrity of this website.
We reserve the right to decline a service request if we believe the information provided is inaccurate or if the requested work falls outside our specialisation.
6. Pricing & Payment
Service Price Reference
All prices in Thai Baht (฿) inclusive of applicable VAT. Prices are subject to revision. The price confirmed at the time of quotation applies to your service.
- Payment is due upon collection of the watch unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We accept payment in cash (THB) and major bank transfers. Card payment availability will be confirmed at time of booking.
- If additional work is identified during the service and you do not authorise it, you will only be charged for work already agreed.
- Watches left uncollected for more than 60 days beyond the collection date, without contact, may incur a storage charge at our discretion.
7. Service Delivery & Timelines
- Turnaround times are discussed and agreed at the point of drop-off. We will communicate promptly if any delay arises.
- Timelines may be affected by the availability of specialist parts or materials, which we will explain clearly when relevant.
- We treat each piece with care. Our work on vintage and heritage timepieces follows a conservative approach — if a step carries risk to the original character of the watch, we will discuss it with you first.
- All completed work is inspected before collection is arranged.
8. Intellectual Property
All written content, photographs, illustrations, and design elements on this website are the property of Tickwright or are used under licence. No part of this website may be reproduced, distributed, or adapted without prior written consent.

9. Disclaimers
- Information on this website is provided for general orientation only. It does not constitute professional horological advice tailored to any specific timepiece.
- We make no representation regarding the effect of any service on a watch's resale value, insurance value, or collector status.
- While we take every care, the outcome of restoration or refinishing work on aged or fragile pieces may be constrained by the condition of the watch at the time it is received.
- This website is provided "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or entirely error-free.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law:
- Our total liability in connection with any service or any item left in our care shall not exceed the fee paid for that service.
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental loss, including loss of use, loss of market value, or sentimental loss.
- We are not liable for damage attributable to pre-existing defects, undisclosed prior repairs, or inherent fragility in vintage materials.
- In the event of an unforeseen event beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), we will not be liable for delays or service interruptions.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tickwright and its personnel from any claim, cost, or liability arising from your breach of this Agreement, the provision of inaccurate information, or your misuse of this website or the services described on it.
12. Termination
- You may cancel a service before any physical work has begun by contacting us directly. Any preparatory costs already incurred will be communicated and may be charged.
- We may decline to continue a service if we discover that information provided was materially inaccurate, or if the work presents an unforeseen risk to the timepiece that was not discussed at the outset.
- Upon termination, any timepiece in our care will be returned to you in its current state, and you will be invoiced for any work already completed.
13. Dispute Resolution
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any dispute arising from it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Chiang Mai Province, Thailand.
Before initiating any formal proceeding, we ask that you contact us at [email protected] to describe the concern. We will acknowledge your message within five working days and make a genuine effort to reach a fair resolution informally.
Where informal resolution is not achieved, disputes may be referred to the Consumer Protection Board or a recognised mediation service before court proceedings are considered.
14. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms & Conditions, together with any written service confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tickwright.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
- Waiver: Failure to enforce a provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to do so in future.

- Notices: Formal notices should be sent to the address or email listed in Section 16.
15. Changes to Terms
