Cookie Policy

A plain-language explanation of how cookies work on this site, and the controls available to you.

Last updated: 10 June 2025

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They allow the site to remember certain information between page loads or visits — such as whether you have already dismissed a notice, or how you navigated through the site.

Cookies themselves do not contain personally identifiable information, though they can be used alongside other data to build a picture of how a site is used. On this website, we use cookies sparingly and with care.

Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

Always Active

Duration: Session & up to 12 months

S — 02

Analytics Cookies

Help us understand which pages visitors find useful, how they arrive at the site, and where the experience could be improved. Data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

Example: Google Analytics  ·  Duration: up to 26 months

S — 03

Marketing Cookies

Used to understand whether visitors arrive from a particular referral channel or advertising placement. This helps us assess where our outreach is most effective, without tracking your behaviour across other sites.

Duration: up to 90 days

Preference Cookies

Remember settings you have chosen — such as display preferences or region — so you do not need to re-enter them on each visit. No sensitive data is stored in these cookies.

Duration: up to 12 months

Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on this site are placed by third-party services rather than by us directly. Where you consent to analytics or marketing cookies, the following services may set their own cookies:

  • Google Analytics — aggregated visitor data; governed by Google's own privacy terms
  • Google Maps — used for the embedded workshop location map on our homepage

We do not permit social media platforms or advertising networks to place cookies on this website unless you have given explicit consent under the marketing category above.

Cookie Duration

Cookies fall into two broad groups by lifespan:

  • Session cookies — exist only while your browser is open and are removed automatically when you close it.
  • Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a defined period (from 30 days to 26 months depending on the type) or until you delete them manually.
